Mais que signifie vraiment la nymphomanie\u00a0? Et que se cache-t-il derri\u00e8re ce terme exclusivement\u00a0f\u00e9minin sans homologue masculin comparable\u00a0?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #4e2f4e;\"><strong>La nymphomanie, un mythe sexiste <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Le mot \u00ab\u00a0nymphomane\u00a0\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 invent\u00e9 au cours de l&rsquo;\u00e8re victorienne. Les m\u00e9decins de l\u2019\u00e9poque partaient du principe que les femmes ayant un fort app\u00e9tit sexuel \u00e9taient malades, et ont donc invent\u00e9 ce terme. Tout droit sorti d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 archa\u00efque et patriarcale, le mot \u00ab\u00a0nymphomane\u00a0\u00bb ne renvoyait \u00e0 aucune d\u00e9finition pr\u00e9cise. Il servait tout bonnement \u00e0 transmettre l&rsquo;id\u00e9e qu&rsquo;un fort app\u00e9tit sexuel chez la femme relevait de la pathologie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Aujourd\u2019hui encore il poss\u00e8de une connotation p\u00e9jorative. Traiter une femme de nymphomane car ses pratiques sexuelles ne correspondent pas aux \u00ab\u00a0normes\u00a0\u00bb rel\u00e8ve du slut-shaming. Le seul but de ce terme\u00a0? Humilier et stigmatiser les femmes souhaitant vivre leur sexualit\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on lib\u00e9r\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Heureusement depuis les ann\u00e9es 2000, la communaut\u00e9 m\u00e9dicale ne reconna\u00eet plus le terme \u201cnymphomanie\u201c. Et pour cause, la nymphomanie a davantage \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour contr\u00f4ler la sexualit\u00e9 f\u00e9minine que pour r\u00e9duire la d\u00e9tresse de femmes r\u00e9ellement d\u00e9pendantes. En somme\u00a0: elle n\u2019existe pas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/br><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #4e2f4e;\"><strong>L\u2019hypersexualit\u00e9, un vrai trouble <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Aujourd\u2019hui, on parle plut\u00f4t de\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marieclaire.fr\/,dependance-au-sexe,20256,589838.asp\">d\u00e9pendance<\/a> au sexe, de sexualit\u00e9 compulsive ou d&rsquo;hypersexualit\u00e9. Des\u00a0termes qui s&rsquo;appliquent\u00a0aussi bien aux hommes qu&rsquo;aux femmes. Ce comportement qui se traduit par une recherche syst\u00e9matique, persistante et inadapt\u00e9e du plaisir sexuel suscite toujours moult fantasmes et clich\u00e9s. Pourtant, l\u2019hypersexualit\u00e9 peut impacter n\u00e9gativement la vie sociale de ceux qui en souffrent. \u00catre accro au sexe se caract\u00e9rise par des pens\u00e9es invasives et des besoins tellement encombrants qu\u2019ils peuvent emp\u00eacher d\u2019avoir une relation stable, voire m\u00eame cr\u00e9er une addiction \u00e0 la pornographie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Les causes de l\u2019addiction au sexe sont encore tellement floues qu\u2019il n\u2019existe encore aucun traitement par m\u00e9dicaments.
